Quality Check Draft and Final Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Package
The EHCP Quality Check Package at Live to Learn Integrated Assessments is a high-level review service, delivering expert analysis of draft or final Education Health and Care Plans. The service is designed to ensure that the plan is clear, accurate, and contains legally robust provision that is properly aligned to the young person’s identified needs.

Our process
The review involves a detailed, line-by-line analysis of the draft or final EHCP, checking for clarity, accuracy, specificity, and legal compliance. Particular attention is given to ensuring that the needs identified in Section B are properly reflected in the provision set out in Section F, and that outcomes are specific, measurable, and achievable. The review also considers whether the plan accurately reflects the professional evidence and reports that underpin it.
After the Assessment
Families receive a comprehensive written analysis of the EHCP, highlighting any areas of concern, gaps in provision, inaccuracies, or sections that may benefit from strengthening. Clear, practical recommendations are provided for amendments to request from the local authority, ensuring the plan is as strong and accurate as possible.

Working With Families and Professionals
“The team worked together seamlessly and we felt supported throughout. It never felt rushed or impersonal. The focus on our child’s strengths as well as their needs was reassuring, and the outcomes have been genuinely helpful in moving forward.”
“The assessment and report from Live to Learn were exceptionally clear and practical. The recommendations were specific, realistic, and easy to translate into provision within school. Having the educational context so carefully considered made a real difference.”
“From the very beginning, the process felt thoughtful and well coordinated. The assessment was thorough, but what stood out most was how clearly everything was explained. The report gave us real clarity and helped us understand not just the diagnosis, but what support would actually help our child in school and day-to-day life.”
